BLOCKCHAIN
How can the methods of the makers lab be used to make the complexity of blockchain technology and the societal expectations surrounding it tangible and differently understandable?
BLOCKCHAIN
For our class we had to do some brainstorming and come up with a few possible prototypes. Given the subject we have, that was pretty difficult.
We, Katharina and Rick, will be focussing on some sort of a blockchain visualisation during the last part of the minor Makers lab.

During this first week we both started off with making a debrief for ourself, to try and understand the assignment.
For both of us, blockchain is roughly understandable, but the assignment isn't yet very graspable.

To get a better understanding of blockchain we have read multiple articles/seen some videos and wrote our thoughts on them.

All these can be found in the Trial of Evidence.
We came up with a few ideas. Such as a printer that printed legal documents, which aren't changeable, to show that blockchain contains non changing documents.

Other ideas included something like a puzzle explaining the complexity of blockchain and not being able to remove part.
